My StoryHow I got here.
My path to medicine began in the home of my grandmother and grandfather. When I was six years old, my grandmother was diagnosed with diabetes and hypertension, and I learned early how to test her blood glucose and administer her insulin injections carefully, so it wouldn't hurt. That experience planted a deep love for healthcare that has guided every step of my career.
After serving in the United States Army, I pursued my bachelor's in nursing, followed by my first master's degree in family practice and a second in psychiatric mental health. I went on to complete my doctorate in advanced practice nursing, and when I recognized how closely addiction medicine intersects with psychiatry, I earned a third master's in addiction medicine and therapy.
Today, "Integrative" in the name of my practice reflects a deliberate clinical philosophy: bringing family medicine, psychiatric care, and addiction services together under one roof. My patients deserve a provider who understands the full picture: body, mind, and the places where they meet.
